Writing

Hello today this week we learned how to write a narrative.
The one highlighted in yellow is what I did.

Using your new knowledge of noun groups (adjectives & nouns), text connectives

(pronouns & time connectives) & interesting verbs & adverbs, fix up the following

sentences. 

Remember: 

Adjective - describing word i.e. beautiful

Noun - naming word i.e. cat

Pronoun - replaces a noun in a sentence i.e. he, she, I

Time connective - joins sentences & phrases together i.e. firstly, meanwhile, next

Verb - doing word i.e. running, biking

Adverb - word that modifies a verb i.e. she swam quickly 

You may find it useful to use a thesaurus to find new words.  

Using your new knowledge of these written features, transform 3 of these sentences. 

The pup lay on the snow. She looked at the water. It was a sunny day. It was cold.

The fluffy chubby white pup relaxes nicely on the shivering snow. She gazed and the

sparkling clear water. It was a beautiful bright sunny day. It was shivering cold like 10,000 ice

cubes covering your whole body.

The vehicle went across the road. There was a car waiting to cross.

Bright pink giant truck ZOOMED past the ruff bumpy road. There was a wide thick vehicle

waiting for it's time to cross.

The crow flew across the sky. It had wings and a beak.

The fluffy black dark Crow sword as quick as a jet plane. It had gigantic wings & a sharp pointy beak.

The bird flew across the sky. It had big wings and yellow eyes. It saw something, and went down

towards the ground.

The bird dived through the bright blue sky. It had enormous wings and a devil looking dark

yellow eyes. It quietly stared at something, and dived down towards the flat ground.

A tentacle came out of the water. The creature had a big head and big eyes.

The Tentacle bursted out of the cold shivering water. The strange-looking creature had

a ginormous head and thick eyes.

Create Task: Use the one of the following pobble prompts, to write a short paragraph ( 7-8 sentences) using your new understanding of written narrative features.

Jim the chubby seal!

One bright gloomy day, There was a seal as chubby as me. The seal named himself Jim. He loved licking slithery slimy fish. The seal lived in a cold shivery place, On the white icy snow. He had one mortal enemy. The dark killer whale. He has not seen him in 3 months. He was having a great time without her but then suddenly He came. You're probably wondering who was the person who came. It was the dark killer whale. It’s black as a solar eclipse. She wanted to call for help so she got the telephone and called the penguins. They came in a jif and peaked them with their pointy beaks. The dark killer whale. Ran away as fast as she could.

fun fact: seals can stay underwater for 30 minutes.

division problems with whole numbers.

1. 45 ÷ 5=_  -  9x5=45 Five children have 15 sweets altogether.

2. 36  ÷4=_  -  9x4=36 How many does each child get if they

3. 66 ÷11=_  -  6x11=66 are equally shared between them?

4. 45 ÷ 9=_  -  5x9=45 I skip counting in 3’s and got up to 15. So it = 3.

5. 56 ÷8=_  -  7x8=56

6. 54 ÷6=_  -  9x6=54

THE EGG STORY

One day there was a egg named John. That egg was in a supermarket. "Then suddenly there was a costumer that bought all there brothers and sisters! Everyday there is lest eggs. So the John anted to stop this non since. So he tried to make thing better by stopping the costumer from buying them so they went to the boss of the supermarket. "John said you are ruining our family!" The boss said NO! So the egg said nothing and went out the door.

All the egg tried to escape. There were 84 egg left so they. We need to prepare for the escape, said John. So they got there equipment and ran to the exit. but there was a dark creepy security guard was there. We need to think of a distraction. I know said the David we can throw a stone so hard at someone that they will scream and the dark creepy security guard will come over but we just need to get the key of him. OH, LOOK OVER THERE! said John. (everyone) Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

There is a hook, if we can get it we can YEET it on the key and hopefully it will fall on the ground. and + were the security guard is standing is carpet. aren't you two the strongest? Yeah said Gerald and
Tiffany. Let's go. so john went to go get the hook with some others. Gerald and Tiffany went to go throw some stones at people. (Eventually) I Got the hook said John, Sophie are you good at aiming. Yas queen said Sophie. I did Archery for 5 years. Than throw It Like the Wind. Sophie chucked the hook as far as she could. it knocked the key off the pocket of the dark creepy security guard.

"YES GOOD JOB SOPHIE!" said John. they rushed quickly to the door and ran out. (everyone) "FREEDOM FOR ALL!"

what you need to write a proper Email 2020!👍

This week we had to learn how to write a proper Email.

This is what you need :)

Greeting! 

first you need to add a greeting to your email (for example)

Hi (name), hi there, hello, of sincerely, sincerely is more of a formal greeting. Don’t write sup or yo.

Content!

Secondly add a content. In a content don’t write all capital letters.

Also the worst thing you possibly do is slang don't write like I want 2b or

I c a table or something and add a subject. If you want you can use paragraphs.

Ending!

Lastly you need to make a very polite ending (for example)

Thanks a lot. You can also write sincerely then your name.

If you written a email to your parents you can write lots of love.
