math boards

Our school/hub has been doing math boards. It has been a good experience for me to learn something new this year. On the bottom there is a sample. If you do this at school I will love that. we did this for about a month. we need to do four different kinds of questions one of them are white a word problem, solve it numerically, solve it another way and give a visual solution. for give a visual solution I made 15 cups and three sticks in all of them. For solve it another way I just switched them back to front. The third one is solve it numerically, this one I did ten plus ten that = twenty then ten plus thirty then plus five plus = forty plus five = forty five. On the forth one I made a word problem. there were 15 cubes his friend had 15 cubes he made a new friend he had also 15 cubes, if you x all that together it = forty five. That is all about our math boards.

the cross country!

Cross country!

On Thursday we went to Walter park to do our cross country. At first the year 7-8's were running so that means my brother was in the race. I was cheering for him. But his throats was ruff so he had to do only one lap. while that me and my friends where waiting for a long time because the year 5-6's where the last one's to race. Before we raced we had morning tea and a little bit of playing time, then I went to the toilet but it was so stinky. But Miss Hanson came and said "before the race you are going to run to the pole and back and then we are going to a little warn-up" so we did as she said. It was time for the race we all lined up. in staid of the two pleases of wood and goes like snap! the was a whistle. we all sprinted. after a lap I was puffed, Tomasz and Karter where beating me on the 2nd lap but at the end I just bet them and I placed top 8th. the we went back to the school, I could not take another step. (but I did)       Tell me if you do cross country? if not it is very very fun!

winter sport 2019

Hi my name is Julian and I will show you what I did for winter sport. 

Every Thursday we get to go to winter sport. You can choose between four things. I chose rugby because I really want to get in there. We played many many games most of them we lost, but still kipped going. Our most intense game was when the scores were tied but on the last second we just lost. That was the best we did against that team any way. That was my favorite team we vs. At the start I  thought I can not help at all but all of a sudden I got better and better. Even Steve said you are very good for a beginner. So I tried to do as much as I could to help my team-mates. Next year I mite be doing soccer for a change.             What sport do you do?
